Beauty and Identity
Ithra
The ‘Beauty and Identity’ exhibition consisted of 176 artworks from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, including the innovative and newly fabricated Damascus. Constantine KSA arranged the crating and packing of all loans in the USA and facilitated four large-scale shipments from Los Angeles to Dammam.
The Damascus Room had never been installed onto its new metal armature before coming to ITHRA, so Constantine KSA’s skilled team were responsible for the successful display and subsequent deinstallation.
Constantine KSA’s excellent management of a multiple-shipment exhibition on this scale demonstrates our position as a market leader in providing exhibition services in the Kingdom.

- Due to travel restrictions in October 2020, the lending museum were unable to send any couriers and for the first time in their history entrusted a de-installation team (Constantine KSA) to complete the de-installation, condition checking, and packing without their own personnel on site. This was effectively undertaken by Constantine KSA Project Managers who were trained in the museum’s documentation processes and offered live de-installations for particularly sensitive objects through video conferencing software.
- Constantine KSA’s excellent relationships with GACA, Airport Security and Cargo Handling teams proved to be exceptionally beneficial in ensuring that a Constantine KSA Airport Manager could supervise air-side and on the aircraft, ensuring the strapping and position was to best practice for fine art consignments – a service that is unprecedented in the Kingdom.
